We went to "Spud Days" on Saturday. They have a big parade down main street and a bunch of booths set up at the park to celebrate potato harvest. (Potato harvest starts in about 1 week and all the kids get out of school for 2 weeks so they can help out on the farms.)
Kai was able to be in the parade with his cousins on a pirate ship and we all got enough candy from the parade to last us the rest of the year! We had a great time!
