Penny Party

My family is all about the traditions. We do the same things every year. The same time, same place, same food, ect. I have missed a lot of the parties now that I am in Idaho, but I was able to go down over Labor Day to one of my favorites, the Penny Party. Every Labor day weekend we go to MillCreek Canyon. My Grandma makes her famous borrow hots and we have cake and homemade icecream. Yum! Every year we each hide 10 pennies somewhere in the campground in a place that we try to remember for the next year. Then, we come back to the same spot 1 year later and try to find them. I have been doing this ever since I can remember and now I am able to pass on this fun tradition to my kids who have already joined in on the fun!
(Zach, Grandpa, Grandma, Brooke, Tegan, Brady, Kai, Ryan,
Abbie, and Christopher, Abbie's boyfriend)
(all of us minus a few that couldn't make it this year)

Abbie and Zach's pennies they found.

Zach and Kai hiding more. . .
