I love traditions! I grew up in a family that has a tradition for everything and I love doing the same for my family. Last year we started a new tradition with Brady's sister, Christy, and her family to make gingerbread houses. It is a lot of fun and the kids love it!
Here are the cousins working hard!

My boys after a hard days work of builing houses, and a tummy full of candy!

The finished masterpieces!

I also started a new tradition for my family. We did a candlelight dinner with the boys. We lit a bunch of those little votive candiles and put them all over the kitchen table. Kai thought is was the coolest thing. We had to strap Tegan down so he wouldn't touch them or blow them out, but he loved it too. After dinner we roasted marshmellows on the candles. It was a lot of fun and I took a bunch of pictures, but I had forgoten to put my card back in my camera. Oh well, we can't wait to do it again next year.
We have one more tradition to start, but I will share it later after we do it.
